Scientist Carolus Linnaeus was the first to present the Plant kingdom, he was the first to classify the organisms, in which he divided the organisms into two kingdoms.

He classified the organisms on the basis of the cell wall.
This means those which had cell wall were kept in the Plant kingdom and those which did not have cell wall were kept in the Animal kingdom.

This classification was wrong because it was classified only on the basis of external symptoms which is not correct.
